Chocolate Mud Cake

Chocolate Cake. Everyone loves it. And let’s face it. If you can make an Amazing Chocolate Cake, you’re well on your way to conquering the world! Or at least your world. If you don’t have a really amazing chocolate cake recipe, you’ve come to the right place.

Once we bought a chocolate mud cake for my nephew's birthday and i never had such delicious mud cake ever, not to soggy and not too spongy, it was just perfect. I was craving for the same cake from so many days and finally tried it out and got it exactly the way i wanted it to be.. i feel this mud cake is perfect and it is made from scratch , i bet you all would love it too.



Here's the recipe for this heavenly Chocolate Mud Cake.
Ingredients
(For Cake)
150g unsalted butter
1 cup powdered sugar
3 eggs
1 tsps. vanilla extract
½ cups milk
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
4 tbsp cocoa powder (unsweetened)
1 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp baking soda
1/8 tsp salt
1/4 cup melted milk chocolate
(For chocolate syrup)
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup dark chocolate or milk chocolate
(For ganache)
80g double cream
200g dark chocolate
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350F. Butter and flour 9-inch round baking pan.
In a large mixing bowl, sift together all the dry ingredients (all purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder and salt).
Using an electric mixer, beat butter until smooth and then add in powdered sugar and beat until fluffy on medium speed.
Now add eggs one at a time until it is well incorporated.
Add in milk, vanilla extract and melted chocolate to it.
Now add the dry ingredients into the egg mixture and fold in everything together nicely.
Pour batter evenly into prepared pan.
Bake for 30 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool for 10 minutes; remove cake from pan to wire racks and make slight holes on the cake with the help of an fork and pour the chocolate syrup evenly on the cake. Keep the cake in the fridge for half an hour.
Now prepare the chocolate ganache , heat double creamin the double boiler keep wisking , once the cream starts to bubble up, remove it from the double boiler and add in the dark chocolate to it, stir until the chocolate is melted.
Place the cake on a wire rack and pour chocolate ganache on top. Cut and Serve.
